Position: Platform Engineer

Experience: 4-10 Years

Work Location: HBR Layout, Bangalore

Work Mode: Work from Office 5 days

Job Type: Permanent/Fulltime Position

Interview Mode: Virtual

Shift Details: 24/7 Rotational (2 ways cab with dinner from company)

Mandatory Skills:

GCP, Terraform, Composer 3, dataflow, Experience on Agentic AI/LLM is a plus

Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on GCP (e.g., GCE, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL)

- Develop and implement automation scripts using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Build

- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of cloud resources and applications

- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture and deployment on GCP

- Implement security and compliance controls, following best practices and industry standards

- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud resources and applications, resolving issues promptly

- Develop and maintain documentation, run books, and knowledge base articles

- Stay up to date with GCP innovations and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our platforms

Must:

3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on GCP

- In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including compute, storage, networking, and security

- Experience with automation tools like Terraform & Terraform Cloud, Ansible, or Cloud Build

Good to have:

- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or Go

- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field

- Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI

- Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic

- Certification in GCP (e.g., Professional Cloud Developer, Professional Cloud Architect)

Composer 3, dataflow, Experience on Agentic AI/LLM
