Role: Post Graduate Trainee - Depot Operations
Job purpose We are seeking highly motivated and analytical Post Graduate Trainees to join our dynamic team focused on optimizing bus operations under a GCC model. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing a modern bus depot, with a strong emphasis on operational efficiency, fleet maintenance, and adherence to service level agreements.

Role Accountabilities
- Assist the Depot Manager in the day-to-day operations of the bus depot, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Learn to analyze operational data (e.g., kilometers run, energy consumption, breakdown rates) to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management.
- Participate in performance reviews with the bus operator to discuss service quality and areas for improvement.
- Understand the roles and responsibilities of depot staff, including drivers, conductors, and technical personnel.
- Learn about crew scheduling and optimization principles.
- Assist in documenting and reporting incidents, accidents, and breakdowns, and contribute to post-incident analysis.
- Learn about emergency response procedures.
- Identify potential areas for operational efficiency improvements.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in projects aimed at adopting new technologies or improving existing operational processes.
Education Qualifications
- B.tech (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile) & MBA.
- Marks: 60 % & above in 10th, 12th, B.tech & MBA.
- Pass out year: 2024/2025.
Skills and capabilities required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an aptitude for data interpretation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
