Job Description
- As an experienced Automation Test Engineer with 4-6 years of relevant experience, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts using various testing frameworks and tools. Your role will involve identifying and prioritizing test cases for automation, executing automated test cases, and analyzing the results. Collaborating with developers and QA teams to enhance test coverage and efficiency will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will also participate in designing and implementing test automation strategies, as well as maintaining and updating automated test suites as required. Reporting and tracking defects in bug tracking systems will be part of your daily tasks. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 6 years of IT experience and at least 4 years of experience in developing Automation scripts with Selenium using Java. Strong familiarity with Automation Industry Frameworks such as BDD, Cucumber, POM, etc., is essential. You should possess the ability to create and execute test plans and test cases based on user stories/requirements, while effectively identifying gaps and communicating defects. Ensuring test coverage, execution, and timely delivery are critical aspects of this position. Experience working with SCM tools like Git/SVN, as well as familiarity with Rest API automation tools like Rest Assured, Http Client using Java, would be advantageous. Adaptability to rapidly changing requirements, troubleshooting issues with applications and dev/test environments, and collaborating with different teams for testing and reporting on product performance, quality, security, and stability are expected from you. Enforcing software engineering best practices and QA methodologies, along with a commitment to continuous improvement in quality assurance processes, are essential qualities. Your excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and detail-oriented problem-solving approach will be crucial in this role. Being a great team player in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is highly valued. Experience with Agile methodology, Test Driven Development (Lean, Scrum), and continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins) will be beneficial. Your functional attributes should include excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset.,
