Job Description
- You will be joining the Othain group, a global IT and BP Solutions and Services Company, with a primary focus on business process and technology management services. As a Junior Software Developer at Othain, you will play a vital role in the dynamic development team. The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in full-stack development with expertise in React and Python, as well as proficiency in working with PostgreSQL databases. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain web applications utilizing React for frontend interfaces - Construct robust backend services and APIs using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI - Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and performance - Collaborate with various teams including designers, product managers, and senior engineers - Engage in code reviews to enhance development practices - Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code - Debug and troubleshoot issues across the entire technology stack - Assist in testing and quality assurance processes - Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices Required Skills: - Proficiency in SDLC & Agile methodologies - Experience with Python and a Python web framework (Django, Flask, or FastAPI) - Knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals Technical Skills: - Frontend: React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design - Backend: Python, Django/Flask/FastAPI, RESTful APIs - Database: PostgreSQL, SQL optimization, database design - DevOps: Vercel/Render deployment, environment management Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, OR equivalent practical experience Location: Hyderabad (Work from office) Shift Time: 2.30PM to 11:30PM IST (Drop off facility available) Experience: 1 to 3 years,
