Job Description

Ph.D. degree, Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the first class (Engineering/ Technology) is required for this position. The ideal candidate should have ten years of experience in Teaching, Research, and/or industry experience, with at least five years at the position of assistant professor, reader, or equivalent grade. Alternatively, candidates must have a first-class Master's degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology. Professional work equivalent to a Ph.D. degree (Engineering/ Technology) or Industrial/professional experience of ten years, out of which at least five years must be at a senior-level assistant professor/reader. Candidates must have professional work recognition recommended by the vice-chancellor of the university to meet the essential requirements for this position. Desirable requirements include teaching, research, industrial, and/or professional experience in a reputed organization, published work such as research papers, patents filed/obtained, books, and/or technical reports. Additionally, experience in guiding project work/dissertation of PG/research students, supervising R&D projects in the industry, and demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial, and/or professional activities would be beneficial.
