Role Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced applications for the Windows/Linux platform.




• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.




• Prepare test plan, test cases and Execute/automate them.




• Work on bug fixing, complex customer escalations and improving application performance.




• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.




• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency.




• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

About the team

As an engineer in this team:

You will help Citrix differentiate itself from its competitors by improving the security posture of some of Citrix s core offerings like Virtual apps, Virtual Desktops, Web and SaaS apps by delivering features like Anti-Screencapture, Anti-Keylogging, Anti-DLL, Anti-Debugging and many other features.

You will also get an opportunity to work on multiple client platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac, iOS, Android ) and also on a wide range of Citrix products.

Qualifications:

• Education: B. Tech or M. Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.




• Experience: 6-8 years of hands-on experience on C/C++ with deep understanding of Windows or Linux operating system internals. Should be flexible to move across platforms.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in C++, with fair knowledge of the language specification




• Thorough knowledge of the OOPS concepts, STL containers, and algorithms




• Good understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected environments




• Good understanding of multi-threading, Sockets, IPCs




• Familiarity with language tools, such as Valgrind, Massif, SonarQube




• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git




• Understanding of Chromium or other browser stack is a big plus




• Knowledge of Kernel Driver development is a big plus
