Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with 8+years of proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate should possess advanced proficiency in DOMO for business intelligence, coupled with a strong foundation in data modeling, cloud infrastructure, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end data architecture strategies to support enterprise analytics initiatives.
- Lead the development and integration of DOMO dashboards, datasets, and dataflows for real-time business insights.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and transform them into scalable solutions.
- Architect and manage data pipelines involving ETL/ELT workflows, integrating diverse data sources.
- Define and enforce data governance standards, including data quality, security, and compliance protocols.
- Optimize data storage and query performance in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Mentor junior data engineers and analysts, providing architectural guidance and technical leadership.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, recommending enhancements for platform scalability and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 8+years of experience in data architecture, analytics platforms, or enterprise data solutions.
- Hands-on expertise with the DOMO BI platform, including dashboard creation, Beast Mode calculations, Magic ETL, and data governance features.
- Proficiency with SQL, Python or R, and common data engineering frameworks.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehouse technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, relational and non-relational databases, and integration methods (API, JDBC, etc.).
- Experience managing large-scale datasets and architecting systems for high availability and scalability.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- DOMO certifications or specialization in DOMO Enterprise tools.
- Experience with data visualization best practices and dashboard UX design.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps pipelines for data infrastructure.
