Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Developing & Managing New / Existing Schindler India Layout Templates (all
Product lines) based on Product changes
- Responsible for Auto generation of Layout through Lift Designer software
- Understanding the challenges / bugs in Layout with respect to the generated
3D Model
- Preparing Creo Models, AutoCAD Drawing for Jobs which are beyond LD
Scope & Modifying 3D Components based on Improvement requests in
every change period
- Co-ordinating with Product Development Team, Supply Chain, Fulfilment
support Team, SAIS Team (Inspection & Commissioning Team) in
understanding the Site related challenges with respect to the Layout
- Supporting in Dashboard creation for Unit Level Performance monitoring
- Providing Non-standard solution in ETO & RSC for Fresh Orders &
Modernisation Jobs
- Approving Layouts based on the RSC / ETO comments
- Coordinating with cross functional Teams - Supply Chain Teams, Project
- engineers, Front line and Sales Team in understanding / Fulfilling the
- Nonstandard Customer requirement
- Creation of Change request to Tools team inorder to Improve the efficiency of
- the Tools related to Calculation / Drawing generation
- Making Engineering Calculations & Generating Elevator Layout Designs with CProcess
- Engineering Tools
- Creating independent Cost Optimized Design solutions based on Nonstandard
- requirements by complying Elevator Codes, Manufacturability & Installation
- based Engineering Instructions
- Designing Elevator Layouts using AutoCAD, Components detailing in Creo
- Creating Reference Libraries for reducing Engineering Time, to sustain Quality
- and faster processing of customized layout
Preferred candidate profile
Required candidates with Layout Engineering Design, Project
Management, Team handling, Estimation Engineering, Preparing Technical Documentation
Coordination experience in procuring elevator materials
