Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce professional with strong expertise in Salesforce Vlocity (Industries), CPQ (Configure Price Quote), and Order Management. The candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing scalable solutions leveraging Salesforce Industries, ensuring seamless integration with business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement Salesforce Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) solutions, including OmniStudio (OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, FlexCards).
Configure and customize Vlocity CPQ to meet complex pricing, quoting, and catalog requirements.
Work on Order Management capabilities within Salesforce to automate and streamline order lifecycle processes.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Perform data modeling, solution design, and configuration for Salesforce Industries applications.
Develop and maintain integrations with external systems (APIs, middleware).
Provide best practices, guidance, and support during implementation, testing, and deployment phases.
Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of the solution.
Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Stay updated with Salesforce and Vlocity product releases and new features.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
610 years of total IT experience with at least 3+ years in Salesforce Vlocity (Industries).
Strong expertise in Salesforce CPQ and Order Management solutions.
Hands-on experience with OmniStudio components (OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures).
Solid understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Platform development (Apex, LWC, Triggers, SOQL).
Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware tools.
Knowledge of Telecom, Media, Energy & Utilities, or Insurance domains (preferred for Vlocity).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent communication abilities.
Salesforce certifications such as:
Salesforce Vlocity (Industries) Developer
Salesforce CPQ Specialist
Platform Developer I/II (preferred)
Nice to Have:
Exposure to DevOps tools (Copado, Git, Jenkins).
Agile/Scrum project experience.
Knowledge of Vlocity EPC (Enterprise Product Catalog).
Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
