Job Description:

• Proficient in Creo CAD software / Experienced in 3D modelling/assembly/drafting in CREO tool.


• Knowledge and hands on experience in Wind chill PLM.


• Good knowledge and experience in Plastic and Sheet metal components design.


• 6 to 8 years of experience in the relevant area of product development.


• Experience in electrical enclosures/panels design is preferable.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Design and develop plastic and sheet metal components.


• Develop 3D Models/2D drawings according to company standards using CAD software-Creo.


• Complete the product releases through ECO/ECN by using wind chill PLM tool.


• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance) & 2D Stack-up analysis.


• Design & Development of electromechanical products/Panels (Sheet-Metal & Plastic parts) based on the Design requirement.


• Assess possibility of changes in design, material & process for cost reduction and performance improvement along with ensuring the quality and timeliness.


• Perform Design calculations, design validation and to support the prototype verifications.


• Understand the Fire Panels/devices design standards, regulatory requirements, and engineering change process.


• Coordinate with internal and global teams for necessary reviews/feedback and related tasks of the product development process.


• May co-ordinate with manufacturing teams, suppliers and service providers during the new product introduction or during necessary product changes.


• Comply with Company standards & procedures.
