L2 Support - Java @ Relanto

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced L2 Support Engineer with a good understanding of Java applications. This role involves resolving technical issues, working closely with development teams, and ensuring the smooth running of production systems.

• Handle application support issues related to Java-based systems.
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical problems reported by users or L1 support teams.
• Monitor system health and application performance.
• Work with development teams to fix bugs and implement improvements.
• Provide timely updates and solutions to reported issues.
• Maintain documentation for support processes and common issues.
• Ensure proper escalation of critical issues.

• Good knowledge of Core Java and basic Java frameworks.
• Understanding of SQL and databases.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
• Ability to read and analyze application logs.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with support tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, etc.
• Knowledge of scripting (Shell, Bash, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in application support or similar roles.
