QA Automation - Pytest @ Programming.Com

Job Description

Locations: Gurgaon, Mohali, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune

Experience: 6+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain automated test suites using Python (Pytest) and Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
• Perform testing of Drupal-based applications, focusing on functionality, performance, and CMS-specific workflows (content types, user roles, permissions, etc.).
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent functionality and appearance.
• Build and execute API test cases for RESTful services using Postman or custom Python scripts.
• Perform accessibility testing using tools like axe-core, Lighthouse, and WAVE, ensuring compliance with WCAG guidelines.
• Manage and track test plans, test cases, execution status, and defects using QTest.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to define acceptance criteria and identify edge cases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to overall QA strategy and improvements.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in automation.
• Proficient in Python, with strong experience using the Pytest framework.
• Hands-on experience with UI test automation using Selenium WebDriver.
• Exposure to testing Drupal-based applications, including CMS structure, workflows, and user roles.
• Experience with API testing and tools like Postman, Swagger, or Python-based custom frameworks.
• Experience in accessibility testing and a solid understanding of WCAG/ADA compliance.
• Familiarity with cross-browser/device testing using platforms like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or equivalent.
• Practical experience with QTest or other test management tools.
• Knowledge of version control (Git) and Agile processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent verbal/written communication.
