Frontend Architect (React) @ Infogain

Job Description

• Architect and design enterprise-grade web applications using Next.js, React, and modern frontend technologies.

• Lead the migration of legacy systems to Next.js and the App Router architecture.

• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and backend engineers to define scalable UI/UX and performance strategies.

• Establish and enforce frontend engineering standards, reusable component patterns, and architectural guidelines.

• Optimize applications for SEO, accessibility, server-side rendering (SSR), static generation (SSG), and performance.

• Design and implement code-splitting, caching, and ISR (Incremental Static Regeneration) strategies.

• Evaluate and integrate frontend tooling such as TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Formik/React Hook Form, and Material UI.

• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E), and deployment automation for frontend.

• Mentor frontend engineers and conduct code/design reviews.

• 10+ years of experience in frontend development, with 5+ years in React.js and minimum 3+ years in Next.js.

• Deep understanding of Next.js features including SSR, SSG, ISR, App Router, Middleware, and Server Components.

• Deep understanding of React Hooks, Context API, component lifecycle, and code-splitting strategies.

• Hands-on experience with Next.js version 13 or above.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern ES6+ practices.

• Experience with UI libraries/frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or similar.

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and state management tools (Redux, Zustand, etc.).

• Hands-on experience with accessibility (WCAG), SEO optimization, and analytics integrations.

• Experience leading architecture discussions, defining standards, and guiding technical strategy.

• Familiarity with DevOps tools ( Docker, GitHub Actions, etc.) for frontend workflows.

• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (e.g., Lighthouse, Sentry, New Relic).
