About Job:
This position is part of VeriParks R&D initiatives. We are looking for a AI Engineer, focused on implementing and deploying AI and ML-based business solutions. You will play a key role in bringing innovative ideas into production by building and supporting intelligent applications in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
What you will be doing:
- Develop and deploy Python applications as part of AI and ML solution implementations within VeriParks R&D activities.
- Design and implement backend services using Flask and/or Fast API.
- Contribute to projects focused on AI/ML-enhanced business solutions, working closely with business analysts, other developers and solution architects.
- Participate in the design, development, and deployment of Large Language Model (LLM)-based solutions, including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and domain adaptation techniques.
- Work on the development of intelligent agents using Azure AI Studio / Copilot Studio, contributing to Agentic Workflows and multi-agent orchestration patterns for advanced enterprise scenarios.
- Take an active role in Proof-of-Concept (PoC) initiatives and technical pre-sales activities by preparing demo environments, prototypes, and solution proposals aligned with customer needs.
- Contribute to the packaging, deployment, and lifecycle management of AI agents via Azure AI Foundry, ensuring reusability and enterprise-readiness.
- Help evaluate and integrate new AI technologies and open-source tools into VeriParks product suite, including LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, and vector search frameworks.
- Ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with ethical AI and responsible AI principles, including fairness, transparency, and robustness.
- Support cross-functional teams by documenting code, preparing technical guides, and mentoring junior team members in AI development best practices.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams by providing technical expertise during client engagements, supporting proposal preparation, solution demos, and responding to RFPs/RFIs with AI/ML capability insights.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science
- Strong software development background
- Proven experience in Python development.
- Eagerness to learn, especially openness to exploring and adopting new technologies and tools.
- Cloud-agnostic mindset with the ability to design portable architectures, while having a strong focus on Microsoft Azure for implementation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, with the ability to design cloud-agnostic and portable architectures (Azure focus preferred).
- Solid understanding of modern backend frameworks, including Flask and FastAPI.
- Exposure to AI/ML-based architecture and prior experience in machine learning or/and artificial intelligence projects is a strong plus.
- Experience or familiarity with:
- Azure AI Foundry Agents and Agentic Workflows
- LangChain or similar orchestration frameworks for LLM-based applications
- Microsoft Copilot Studio and Copilot extensibility via plugins or custom connectors
- Working with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines and LLM fine-tuning
techniques
Preferred (Optional) Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with building AI agents, including solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Studio, or other agentic frameworks, is highly desirable.
- Experience in Python is a must, other languages is considered as plus
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Interest or experience in AI and Machine Learning applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services, especially:
- Azure OpenAI Service
- Experience using Large Language Models (LLMs) in inference-based applications (e.g., retrieval-augmented generation, chatbots, summarization APIs).
- Azure Machine Learning
- Azure Document Intelligence
- Azure AI Search
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate and its integration capabilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft CoPilot Studio and its capabilities.
- Familiarity with Azure deployment types, such as Azure Functions (Especially Durable Functions) and Azure App Services
