Job Description
Role : SAP Basis Consultant
Experience :5 to 14years
Primary skills : SAP Basis + Oracle background
Locations : Hyderbad/Bangalore/Mumbai/Pune
Shift :Third Shift(Mandatory)Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, etc.).
Perform daily SAP BASIS administration tasks, including client copy, system refresh, and transport management.
Manage and optimize Oracle database performance, backup, recovery, and patching activities.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to SAP and Oracle environments.
Apply SAP Notes, support packages, kernel upgrades, and enhancement packs.
Coordinate with functional, technical, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth system operations.
Implement and manage system security, user administration, and authorization profiles.
Support SAP migrations, database upgrades, and Unicode conversions.
Prepare system documentation, operational procedures, and reports.
Provide 24x7 support for critical production issues on a rotational basis.Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration.
Hands-on experience with Oracle DB for SAP, including:
- Oracle 12c/19c
- RMAN, Data Pump, DB tuning
Experience with SAP installations, system copies, migrations, and upgrades.
Knowledge of SAP transport management and SAP Security concepts.
Familiarity with Solution Manager, SAP HANA (added advantage).
Understanding of operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
