Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with business, technology and strategic stakeholders to establish a data architecture aligned to the overarching business data strategy and program goals. Design conceputal, logical and physical data models to support transactional and analytics applications '-Lead the architectural design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms using AWS services. -Collaborate closely with the data engineering team to understand their requirements and provide architectural guidance and solutions. -Develop and maintain architectural standards, best practices, and guidelines for data infrastructure. -Ensure the integration of various data sources and systems into a cohesive data platform. -Optimize data workflows and pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability. -Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the data engineering team. -Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, data engineering, and Azure and AWS services. -Conduct regular reviews and audits of the data platform to ensure compliance with security and governance policies. -Work with stakeholders to define and implement data governance and data management strategies. Skills Experience in Data Modeling, Master Data Management, Metadata Management, Data engineering, Data Quality Metrics '-Experience with with AWS services, including AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, and Amazon RDS. -Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices. -Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. -Deep knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. -Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git. -Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. -Strong communication and leadership skills. -Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. -Knowledge of security and compliance standards related to cloud data platforms.
