Job Description
Numino Labs, is a Product Engineering Services (PES) Company based in Pune, India. Numino Labs specializes in building high-performance products on Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure Cloud Platforms using Container based and Serverless architectures.
Responsibilities
- People Management & Career Development: Imbibe the technical DNA (strong computer engineering fundamentals) at Numino, and guide & build strong careers for team members
- Engineering Excellence: Set a high bar for teams on engineering excellence, and help raise the level of work at Numino; Instill a data-driven, mathematical & statistical mindset in developers & testers
- Deliver results: Drive eng & project oversight over multiple clients, products, & concurrent releases
- Partner Clients: Influence & drive product & release GTM strategy, phases & MVP definitions with clients
- Agile Expert: Adhere to principles over process & terminology, and learn and teach teams on how to effectively imbibe agile methodology for delivering high eng & business value for team members, clients & numino
- Quality Expert: Grasp product requirements, product architecture & design & limitations & drive rigorous test planning and execution with testing team members, and be a guardian of quality delivered for the team. Hold yourself accountable for delivering high quality, set high standards, and help the team step up to set standards
- SDLC Expert: SCM (Branching, GIT), Configuration Management, Defect Prioritization & Resolution, JIRA
- Eng Efficiency: Maximize coding & testing time for the team, through the adoption of lean practices, as well as automation to minimize overheads to the team. Understand day to day life of team members and eliminate bottlenecks & overheads
- Organizational Excellence: Innovation in Career Development, Employee Engagement, Hiring, IT
Requirements
- Depth of Experience: Has deep experience & expertise in SDLC & Agile in evolving products (2-3) to mature large client base, large data sets, and performance tuning & diagnostics in large-scale environments
- Drive for results: Drive release & projects all the way to final closure, and desire to build a sense of accomplishment and success in team members
- Fair exposure & grasp of microservices and/or serverless product architecture implementations on Python/Java Stacks on AWS and/or Azure Cloud
- Fair experience in DevOps/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) implementations on Python/Java Stacks
- Leadership skills: Thrives on leading people, learns & teaches team members, backs & grows team members, makes decisions, delivers results & sets an all round example
- Interpersonal skills: Can connect with employees, clients, and stakeholders with ease and effectively establish personal & competency trust
- Agile Methodology & Continuous & Lean Principles: Does not get bogged down by detail or lack of it, and is able to take decisions with varying levels of available information
- SDLC Expertise: Source Code Management, Environment Pipeline & Versioning, Defect Prioritization & Resolution
- (desirable) DevOps stack: Jenkins, RestAssured, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, CloudFormation, CircleCI, ArgoCD, GitOps
- (desirable) Expertise on Big data stores & technologies: AWS DynamoDB, Azure CosmosDb, Apache Cassendra, Kafka, Redis Cache
