We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Test Lead with a strong background in eCommerce to lead a team of manual and automation QA engineers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of core QA practices, excellent leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality digital experiences.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Test Lead with a strong background in eCommerce to lead a team of manual and automation QA engineers. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers (manual and automation) across multiple projects.
Define and implement robust test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
Drive test optimization, test data management, and test environment setup.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage and maintain high standards of test design and execution.
Track and report QA metrics such as defect density, test coverage, and test execution progress.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and DevOps.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of automation frameworks and tools.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.
Continuously improve QA processes and advocate for best practices in quality assurance.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear status updates and risk assessments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a QA leadership role.
Proven experience in eCommerce domain testing.
Strong knowledge of manual and automation testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, Karate, etc.).
Expertise in test design techniques, test case optimization, and test data management.
Experience with QA metrics and reporting tools.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams in a dynamic environment.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with QA processes
