Job Description
- You have an exciting opportunity to join as a Software Tester (Automation) in the Fintech industry with a leading company based in Chennai. As a skilled and detail-oriented QA professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality product delivery through efficient testing practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Appium, or similar frameworks. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies. - Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar. - Conduct performance and regression testing to ensure the stability of fintech applications. - Identify, log, and track bugs, and verify bug fixes. - Work in Agile/Scrum development environments and participate in sprint planning and reviews. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and automation practices. **Required Skills:** - 3 - 5 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation. - Hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, and scripting in Java/Python. - Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Strong experience in API testing (REST/SOAP). - Exposure to mobile app testing (Android/iOS). - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber. - Knowledge of SQL and the ability to work with large datasets. - ISTQB or relevant certification is an added advantage.
