Job Description
- You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for both mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications using Playwright or Cypress. Your role will involve developing scalable mobile automation tests, leveraging tools such as Appium or native mobile tools. It will be essential to write clean and maintainable automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript and implement BDD scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin if required. Additionally, you will integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc., and conduct API and integration test automation using relevant tools. To be eligible for this role, you should have at least 4 years of experience in building automation frameworks with JavaScript/TypeScript. Hands-on expertise in Playwright and/or Cypress for end-to-end testing is required. You must possess solid experience in mobile automation, preferably using Appium or an equivalent tool. A strong understanding of testing methodologies including functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing is necessary. Proficiency in writing BDD scenarios, especially if the tech stack includes Gherkin/Cucumber, is essential. Experience in integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines and solid knowledge of REST API testing tools such as Postman, JMeter, etc., are also required. Furthermore, strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in Agile teams are important for this role. A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work with minimal supervision will be key attributes that you should bring to the team.,
