Job Description

Department/Division:-Operation Theatre

Job content: - Technical support to Surgeon & Anaesthetist during surgery

Duties:

Assist surgeon, Anaesthetist, Staff Nurses in OT.

Responsible for the good maintenance of all OT equipments and machines.

To maintain consumption record of disposables and drugs items used in the theatre.

Availability for elective and emergency surgeries round the clock.

Responsible for the shifting of patient from OT to ward or ICU.

Additional responsibilities entrusted by the units:-

JOB SPECIFICATION

Required knowledge: -Requires good domain and practical knowledge; must have good working knowledge.

Required skills: - Must have good domain skills with interpersonal skills.

Education, experience and formal training: - Must be a D-Pharmacy /OT technician course with 2 to 4 years experience.
