Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer @ Mindteck

Job Description

• Continuous Monitoring: Provide 24/7/365 monitoring of cloud infrastructure to ensure operational integrity and performance.
• Alert Management: Monitor, acknowledge, and respond to all system alerts in a timely manner.
• Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents using existing runbooks to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Prompt Incident Response: Ensure rapid detection and response to incidents to minimize downtime and impact.
• Service Availability: Maintain high service availability and performance to meet organizational standards and SLAs.
• Collaboration and Escalation: Escalate incidents when necessary and collaborate with other teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Runbook Enhancement: Continuously update and improve existing runbooks to enhance incident response processes.

• Proven experience in cloud infrastructure monitoring (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow runbooks for incident investigation.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a 24/7/365 shift-based environment.
• Experience in maintaining and updating technical documentation, such as runbooks.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes or incident management frameworks is a plus.

• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator).
• Experience with automation tools for incident response (e.g., PagerDuty, ServiceNow).
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components (compute, storage, networking)
