Job Description
- Manual QA & API Testing : Conduct thorough manual testing and API validations using tools like Postman, ensuring software quality and reliability.
- Test Case Development : Derive comprehensive test cases from user stories, ensuring alignment with business requirements and coverage of all functionalities.
- Test Execution & Reporting : Execute test cases and meticulously update results in the test case management tool, such as UiPath Test Manager.
- Defect Management : Collaborate closely with the development team to prioritize and resolve defects, ensuring timely closure and minimal impact on project timelines.
- Process Adherence : Monitor testing processes, promptly identify any deviations, and communicate them to the Team Lead to maintain process integrity.
- Continuous Learning : Stay abreast of the latest testing methodologies and tools, demonstrating a passion for rapid learning and adaptation.
- Team Collaboration : Work effectively within a team environment, contributing to collective goals and supporting peers as needed.
- Experience : 5-7 years in Manual QA, with a strong foundation in API testing.
- Tool Proficiency : Hands-on experience with UiPath Test Manager and API testing tools like Postman.
- Agile Methodologies : Proven experience working within Agile frameworks, understanding sprints, stand-ups, and iterative development.
- Defect Lifecycle Knowledge : Comprehensive understanding of defect identification, logging, tracking, and resolution processes.
- Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication abilities, essential for reporting and team interactions.
- Team Player : Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, contributing positively to team dynamics.
- Automation Exposure : Familiarity with automated testing processes and tools, enhancing testing efficiency.
- ALM Tools : Experience with Application Lifecycle Management tools, facilitating better integration and tracking.
- Defect Tracking Systems : Proficiency in defect tracking tools, ensuring systematic issue management.
