Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain user interfaces using React.js, Backbone.js, and jQuery
- Build responsive, cross-browser compatible UIs using HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap
- Refactor legacy codebases (Backbone/jQuery) to modern frameworks (React)
- Collaborate with UX designers and backend developers to implement features
- Optimize web applications for speed and scalability
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across multiple browsers and platforms
- Participate in code reviews and team stand-ups
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in web development and suggest improvements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional front-end development experience
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Strong hands-on experience with Backbone.js, JavaScript and jQuery
- Solid working knowledge of React.js, including hooks, context, and component-based architecture
- Familiarity with Bootstrap for responsive design
- Experience working with REST APIs and JSON
- Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Version control experience using Git
- Ability to work in both agile and traditional development environments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
