We are looking for a Senior Mobile Tester to Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms. This position will be full-time and remote.
What Youll Do
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
Conduct various functional testing types, including smoke, regression, and sanity testing.
Perform cross-platform mobile testing on the BrowserStack platform, setting up test environments and executing tests on real and virtual devices.
Conduct API testing using Postman, validate REST APIs, and ensure the integrity of request/response structures and business logic.
Automate test scripts and workflow chaining in Postman using JavaScript.
Use SQL to validate data integrity between mobile apps and backend systems.
Test mobile-specific features such as push notifications, location services, and offline functionality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify comprehensive test scenarios, create detailed test cases, and ensure data-driven validation.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and mobile deployment workflows.
Utilize exceptional debugging and analytical skills to investigate test failures, using mobile developer tools and analyzing crash logs.
Maintain excellent communication and documentation skills for reporting test results and collaborating effectively.
What You'll Need
Required:
5-7 years of hands-on experience in a QA role, focusing on native iOS and Android mobile applications.
Proficiency in API testing using Postman and SQL for backend data validation.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Postman and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of mobile testing environments and tools, including BrowserStack.
Experience with mobile-specific features testing and mobile developer tools
Preferred:
Experience with mobile test automation tools like Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
Exposure to performance testing using tools like JMeter.
Knowledge of mobile security and accessibility testing.
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
