Location: Pune
The job role offers team members the chance to enhance their skills across a wide range of areas
Whether it's deepening their domain knowledge of Creo, Windchill PLM, GDX, general Software QA competencies, or gaining practical experience with automation tools like UI Trail, Selenium, and Playwright, the opportunities for learning are limitless, You would be involved in Software Quality Assurance activities like:
Work together with Technical Product Management and Development teams to review acceptance criteria and specification documents for new product development projects, Gain an understanding of the product's architecture and how different functionalities are interconnected to establish a thorough and pertinent testing scope, Comprehending customer needs and common product usage patterns
Design and write comprehensive test cases to evaluate and validate the product's behavior, Create automated tests utilizing various tools like Selenium, Playwright, and UI Trail, Apply problem-solving methods to identify instabilities in automated tests and offer solutions to address them, Develop efficient processes to ensure that any product defects are reported as quickly as possible after they are introduced, Closely work on manual testing activities and failure analysis of tests to make sure that any Product defects are promptly reported, Skills And Knowledge
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering stream with excellent academic records (10th, 12th and Graduation), 1 to 3 years of industry experience in Engineering Design, Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and Technical Learning Abilities
Exposure to any industry leading PLM system will be an added advantage, Exposure to object-oriented programming is desired, Life at PTC is about more than working with todays most cutting-edge technologies to transform the physical world
