About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and user-centered UX Designer to join the EconomicTimes. com team. You will be instrumental in crafting intuitive, engaging, and effective user experiences across our platforms. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you ll help define and optimize user journeys that serve the needs of millions of business news consumers.
Work Responsibilities
Translate product and business requirements into thoughtful, user-centered experiences
Conduct user research, usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and gather feedback to inform design decisions
Create user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and prototypes to communicate design concepts
Collaborate with product managers, developers, content teams, and other stakeholders
Use qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate and iterate on user experiences
Ensure accessibility and usability best practices are upheldPromote and champion design thinking and a user-first mindset across the organization
Stay current with industry trends, user behavior, and emerging technologies
Skills, Experience & Expertise
Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and usability practices
Hands-on experience with tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Miro, or similar for wireframing and prototyping
Demonstrated ability to translate complex workflows into seamless and simple user journeys
Experience in conducting user research and synthesizing findings into actionable insights
Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design for web and mobile platforms
Excellent communication, storytelling, and collaboration skillsAnalytical mindset with an eye for identifying design problems and solving them creatively
Bachelor s degree or higher in Design, HCI, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
2 5 years of relevant experience in UX design for digital products
Experience working on content-rich or media platforms is a strong plus
