Job Description
- You are a highly experienced QA Automation Engineer with over 5 years of experience, possessing strong expertise in Playwright and Selenium, and proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript. You have a solid background in building automation frameworks and test strategies and are comfortable working in a hybrid model from Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for handling both automation (70%) and manual testing (30%) effectively. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining automation test scripts using Playwright and Selenium. You will also be tasked with building scalable automation frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript and executing functional, regression, and system tests across multiple platforms. Collaboration with developers, BAs, and QA leads in Agile teams to ensure test coverage and product quality is a crucial aspect of this role. Additionally, you will be required to perform manual testing as needed, especially in exploratory and edge case scenarios (approximately 30%), and integrate test suites with CI/CD pipelines while contributing to the test automation strategy. To excel in this role, you must possess at least 2-4 years of experience with Playwright, 4+ years of experience with Selenium, and 3+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript. A strong knowledge of automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and Agile/Scrum practices is essential. Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) is also required, along with a solid understanding of defect management and test documentation.,
