Job Description
- As a Software Testing Intern (API & Automation Focus) at our logistics-tech startup, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth and reliable functioning of our internal APIs and automation tools. By collaborating closely with developers, you will play a vital role in validating features, detecting bugs, and proposing enhancements to enhance our logistics platform. Your key responsibilities will include conducting both manual and automated testing of APIs, utilizing Postman for testing, validating, and documenting API endpoints, assisting in the creation and maintenance of automation test scripts, clearly reporting bugs, inconsistencies, and performance issues, working with the tech team to retest and verify fixes, and contributing to the enhancement of our product's stability and reliability. You will have the opportunity to work with various tools such as Postman for API testing, Jira/Trello or similar platforms for bug tracking, and Python/Selenium/Playwright for automation scripting if you are familiar with these tools. Additionally, you will engage in internal documentation and QA processes to ensure the seamless operation of our logistics platform. We are seeking students or recent graduates in Computer Science, IT, or related fields who possess basic knowledge of APIs, JSON, and software testing concepts. Proficiency in Postman or any other API testing tool, a curious mindset, sharp attention to detail, and familiarity with scripting languages like Python or JavaScript or test automation frameworks will be advantageous. Strong communication skills and fluency in English are essential for this role. This internship opportunity spans over a duration of 2 months and will be conducted remotely. As a Software Testing Intern, you will receive a Certificate of Internship, work directly with our founding and tech teams, gain real-world exposure to product development and QA processes, and establish a solid foundation for a career in software testing and automation.
