Job Description
- The role of Software QA Engineering Head involves leading and driving continuous quality engineering and improvement practices across products in locations such as Trivandrum, Chennai, and Kochi. As the head of the Product Engineering function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a unified testing and quality assurance strategy, improving engineering efficiency through automation testing, and leading test artifacts, automation frameworks, and infrastructure. Collaboration with DevOps and Support teams on CI/CD is essential, as well as hiring, coaching, and managing QA engineers, architects, and managers. Ensuring adherence to QA policies, procedures, and documentation, oversight of test environments and production releases, and driving continuous improvement in QA metrics and team capabilities are key responsibilities. Compliance with US Healthcare regulations is also a crucial aspect of the role. To excel in this position, you should have a strong foundation in software engineering and QA methodologies, be hands-on with the latest automation technologies and tools, and have prior experience working on Agile methodology. Experience in driving QA integration with DevOps to enable continuous releases is essential, along with excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in product QA automation, including 5+ years of leading large QA functions, and proven experience in DevOps environments with continuous testing. Skills required for this role include establishing automation frameworks, standardizing testing practices, and driving the QA function for a product organization.,
