Job Description
Role Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on Cloud/DevOps Engineer to support our modernization journey as we transform banking experiences. This role focuses on automating infrastructure, setting up secure and scalable environments on AWS, and establishing robust CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins-based) to accelerate software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, provision, and manage cloud environments using AWS PaaS services (e.g., ECS, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation/Terraform).
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, integrated with code repositories, quality gates, and automated deployment strategies.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and security teams to ensure reliable, secure, and compliant software delivery.
- Establish infrastructure-as-code practices and automate environment provisioning and configuration.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure and pipeline issues, and drive continuous improvements.
- Support cloud security, cost optimization, and audit-readiness aligned with banking compliance standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Proven hands-on experience with AWS services (especially ECS/Fargate, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tooling, especially Jenkins, with experience in pipeline-as-code (e.g., Groovy).
- Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS, EKS is a plus).
- Solid scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Understanding of security, networking, and system reliability in a regulated (e.g., banking) environment.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to cloud-native security tools and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with GitOps, observability stacks (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana). Bonus: policy-as-code tools (OPA, Sentinel).
- Knowledge of SDLC and DevOps KPIs (e.g., DORA metrics).
