Contribute to planning, architecture, and research activities for next-generation SPDM (Simulation Process Data Management) software.
Perform complex software development tasks, involving deep analysis in areas such as user experience, software design, and solver integration.
Apply and promote software engineering best practices, including conducting technical reviews and mentoring team members.
Execute bug verification, release testing, and provide beta support for assigned products. Investigate issues identified by QA or support teams and develop effective solutions.
Analyze and interpret market requirements, including performance expectations, competitive analysis, and target user environments. Engage with strategic customers or internal proxies to assess needs and develop product enhancements.
Operate independently with minimal supervision, occasionally taking on mentorship and planning responsibilities.
May oversee interns or co-ops, providing guidance without formal managerial duties.
Support internal corporate initiatives aimed at improving the ANSYS SPDM product and enhancing best practices for its configuration and use.
Collaborate effectively across teams, including sales, product development, project management, and implementation engineers, to align product capabilities with user expectations.
Work closely with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to drive feature development and deliver consistent, high-quality user experiences.
Troubleshoot and resolve production defects, ensuring optimal application performance and reliability.
Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure consistent code quality.
Continuously monitor and analyze user behavior and feedback to identify usability improvements and drive product enhancement.
