Senior Business Analyst @ Web Synergies

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Elicitation User Story Management:

• Collaborate with the Business Relationship Manager, Scrum Master, and Product Owner to define detailed project scope.
• Create, refine, and maintain user stories, process flows, and test cases that meet development and stakeholder needs.
• Guide the team in sizing, splitting, and prioritising user stories within the product backlog.

• Utilise Agile techniques (Scrum, Kanban, retrospectives, team planning) to optimise team effectiveness.
• Facilitate meetings at various organisational levels and remove blockers to ensure smooth project progress.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to junior resources, fostering a collaborative work environment.

• Interact with cross-functional groups to support consensus outcomes and informed decision-making.
• Utilise tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, and Confluence to document processes and manage projects.
• Apply change management processes and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years experience as a Business Analyst on IT projects.
• Strong experience in the supply chain domain, with exposure to Oracle, SAP, or ERP systems.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies, including user stories, Scrum, Kanban, and retrospectives.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities; fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience in moderating team dynamics and leading through influence
