Ruby on Rails Developer 4+ Years
Location: Balewadi-Baner Road, Pune / Remote
Experience: 4+ years
Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Ruby on Rails developer who can take provided technical designs and translate them into well-structured, reusable, and secure code. You will collaborate with multiple teams, create flow diagrams and implementation plans from existing designs, and deliver high-quality features at speed. The role demands strong debugging skills, creative problem-solving, and the ability to think on your feet to deliver innovative solutions. Youll also work with AI-powered IDEs to accelerate development.
Must-Have Skills
- Excellent English communication skills able to clearly discuss requirements and progress with the team.
- Ability to understand technical designs and convert them into implementation steps and flow diagrams.
- 4+ years of professional ROR experience with solid knowledge of OOP & MVC architecture.
- Strong in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 4/5, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
- Solid SQL skills database design, query optimization (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Experience with application security.
- API development & integration (Payment Gateways, Google Maps, charts).
- Cloud service integrations: AWS Push Notifications, S3, SES, SMS.
- Skilled with version control (Git, Bitbucket).
- Experience with responsive UI and cross-browser compatibility fixes.
- Ability to work efficiently in AI-assisted coding environments.
- Debugging and problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset.
- Ability to write reusable, maintainable code and follow coding best practices.
Good to Have
- React, Vue.js, or Node.js experience.
- Experience with multiple databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Exposure to eCommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce).
- Familiarity with Jira or other project management tools.
