Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- Translate market opportunities and customer needs into actionable product initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for AI/ML integration to enhance product capabilities, personalization, and operational efficiency.
Product Development Leadership
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and optimization.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, sales, and marketing for seamless delivery.
- Lead the adoption of AI-powered solutions to drive innovation and differentiation.
- Regularly assess product performance using data-driven and AI-driven insights.
Customer and Market Insights
- Deeply understand and advocate for customer needs through research and analytics.
- Analyze market trends and competitor movements to identify opportunities and threats.
- Leverage predictive analytics and AI-driven insights to anticipate customer behaviors.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, operations, finance, and legal to deliver product goals.
- Ensure product strategy aligns with company-wide OKRs.
Team Leadership and Development
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing product team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Guide the team on adopting AI tools and data-driven decision making.
Governance and Compliance
- Ensure all products meet quality, regulatory, and ethical AI standards.
- Manage budgets and resource allocation to maximize commercial impact.
- Ensure AI initiatives comply with privacy, security, and responsible AI practices.
Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes to leadership and key partners.
- Act as the product spokesperson and thought leader for technology and AI-driven innovation.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
- 10+ years in product management with 5+ in senior/GM roles.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Expertise in product lifecycle management, agile methods, and data-driven KPIs.
- Proven success in leading cross-functional and distributed teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in technology, SaaS, or e-commerce industries.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification.
- Experience integrating AI/ML solutions or personalization features in products.
- Familiarity with predictive analytics, recommendation engines, and automation frameworks.
- Understanding of ethical AI principles and regulatory considerations.
