Job Description

Finance Automation: Drive initiatives to automate financial processes using SAP and other financial tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Audits & Compliance: Manage ITGC and ITAC audits in collaboration with Big Four auditors. Lead Statutory audits, Tax audits, and similar audits for all group companies.

Accounting & Reconciliation: Supervise the accounting and reconciliation of Escrow and customer money movements across multiple business units. Ensure timely Balance Sheet reconciliation and month-end closures.

Month-End & Year-End: Drive effective, accurate, and timely month-end and year-end close processes.

Vendor & Team Management: Manage key vendor relationships, oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) and treasury accounting teams, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Taxation: Manage group tax compliance for both direct and indirect taxes, ensuring timely filing of returns and responses to notices.

Treasury: Handle treasury functions, including bank correspondence and relationship management.

Reporting: Responsible for monthly reporting to the Group.

Problem-Solving: Identify accounting and financial issues and propose timely solutions.

Quality Control: Ensure quality control over all financial transactions and reporting.

Education & Experience: CA qualified with 3+ years of experience in core accounting and finance.

Mindset: Demonstrated end-to-end ownership, a solution-oriented approach, and a drive for results.

Industry Experience: Experience with high-volume transactions is essential. Prior experience in startups or the energy sector is an advantage.

Team Leadership: Must have managed a team of at least 5-6 members.

Process Improvement: Proven track record in process improvement and enhancing efficiency in financial operations.

Technical Skills: Expertise in ERP systems (SAP experience is preferred) and specific knowledge of SAP FICO.

Interpersonal Skills: Great interpersonal and communication skills.
