Job Title: AI Prompt Engineer LLM / Conversational AI

Job Type: Part-time / Full-time / Contract (10-20 hrs/week)
Duration: Initial 4 weeks (with potential for extension)
Location: Remote (Preferred Time Zone: GMT+4 to GMT+6)
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled AI Prompt Engineer to enhance the reliability and flow of sarahAI our AI-powered Chief of Staff designed for SME founders, integrated with WhatsApp and Voice interfaces.

This is a hands-on role where youll focus on crafting, debugging, and refining prompts across task management, calendar operations, email summarization, and natural-language user input via voice and WhatsApp. Youll work closely with the founder and engineering team to rapidly test and roll out improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit and optimize prompt templates for:
  Task creation
  Calendar scheduling
  Email summarization
  
• Design fallback prompts to manage incomplete inputs (e.g., missing time, contact name)
  
• Implement clarification and confirmation logic in critical workflows
  
• Integrate prompt tracing tools (e.g., LangFuse or custom solutions) to monitor failures
  
• Define and maintain a version-controlled prompt library
  
• Collaborate with developers to test and deploy improvements
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience crafting prompts for LLMs such as OpenAI (GPT), Claude, or Perplexity in real-world applications
  
• Strong understanding of conversational AI flows and prompt engineering best practices
  
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug prompt failures effectively
  
• Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with tools like LangFuse
  
• Experience working in startup or lean product teams
  
• Located in or near GMT+4 to GMT+6 time zones
