Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Ingenium Application Developer with expertise in environment setup

and migration. As an Ingenium Application Developer, you will be responsible for developing,

implementing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our clients. In this role,

you will be responsible for configuring,setting up and migrating the Ingenium environment for various

projects. You will work closely with other developers, business analysts, project managers, and

stakeholders to ensure that the applications meet the requirements of the clients.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse business requirements and perform technical impact analysis.
• Estimate efforts and timeline for various activities handled by developers.
• Prepare technical design document and arrange walkthrough with various stakeholders.
• Make necessary code changes in INGENIUM Application, process flows and Pathfinder.
• Debugging INGENIUM business process flows for analysis of requirements/issues.
• Create or modify webservices to integrate INGENIUM with peripheral applications.
• Write and schedule batch programs for various reporting requirements.
• Perform unit and integration testing of the applications to ensure quality and reliability.
• Prepare Unit Test Cases, Test logs, Peer review logs, Code/script, Checklists and Promote list.
• Provide defect fixing support for the Function testing, SIT and UAT.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to the Ingenium environment, code, and integrations.
• Provide support for implementation and deployment of code in Production environment.
• Configure and set up Ingenium environments for various projects.
• Write technical documentation for the applications, processes, and procedures.
• Follow products standards, quality assurance and guidelines.

Skillset:

• Expert on INGENIUM architecture and its components, Pathfinder, Application and Database.
• Good Knowledge of Life Insurance domain and various products.
• Hands on experience with Windows/Unix/AIX OS platforms
• Programming skills on COBOL, SQL, DB2, Object REXX, CICS, Mainframes, JavaScript
