Job Description

Required Technical Skill Set

Design of data lakes, lakehouses, data warehouses, and real-time streaming platforms, ETL/ELT & Pipeline Development, Data Pipelines, Regulations and Compliances, Model building processes, Data Governance, orchestration tools like Airflow and other workflow platforms, Azure Data Factory pipelines, Databricks. modern data stacks (Snowflake, Databricks, Apache Spark, Kafka). Programming skills like SQL, Python, and data transformation logic

Must-Have

• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling tools, and pipeline orchestration tools.
• Familiar with modern data stacks (Snowflake, Databricks, Apache Spark, Kafka).
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider:
• AWS: S3, Glue, Redshift, Lake Formation, Athena, EMR
• Azure: Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake Gen2, Databricks, Cosmos DB
• GCP: BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Dataplex
• Solid understanding of security best practices (IAM, encryption, data masking, tokenization).
• Strong knowledge of data governance, cataloging, and metadata management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Good-to-Have

• Cloud certifications
• Experience with AI/ML data pipelines or MLOps integration.
• Familiarity with Data Mesh, Data Fabric, or event-driven architectures.
