Job Description

 Power BI Development & Visualization: 
  • Design, develop, and maintain  interactive Power BI dashboards  and reports to support business users with timely, actionable insights.
  • Translate complex data requirements into visually compelling and easy-to-understand dashboards.
  • Optimize report performance and implement best practices for data visualization and user experience.

    •  Data Extraction & Transformation: 
  • Build, optimize, and maintain  data queries  from the  Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)  and other source systems.
  • Develop, test, and deploy data pipelines using  MS Azure services ,  Alteryx , and  Informatica  to ensure accurate, clean, and normalized datasets.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to ensure efficient data flows, proper data modeling, and adherence to data governance standards.

    •  Finance function Process Support: 
  • Provide data preparation, validation, and reporting support for the process.
  • Partner with Finance, Costing, and Operations teams to ensure timely and accurate report runs.
  • Analyze process gaps and recommend improvements to streamline data handling and reporting.

    •  Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: 
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements, ensuring deliverables align with business objectives.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and recommend solutions for data quality improvements.
  • Stay current with advancements in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, Power BI, and other BI tools to continuously improve solutions.
    • Required education
    Bachelor's Degree Preferred education
    Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  •  45 years  of hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role.
  • Advanced experience building  Power BI dashboards , including DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
  • Strong proficiency with the  Microsoft Azure data stack  (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics).
  • Hands-on experience with  Alteryx  for data blending, preparation, and automation.
  • Working knowledge of  Informatica  for ETL processes.
  • Solid SQL skills for writing and optimizing queries for large, complex datasets.
  • Strong understanding of data normalization, data governance, and best practices for data management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage and make decisions about competing priorities and resources.
  • Ability to delegate where appropriate.
  • Must be a strong team player/leader.
  • Ability to lead Data transformation projects with multiple junior data engineers.
  • Strong oral written and interpersonal skills for interacting throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to communicate complex business problems and technical solutions.
