Job Description
- As a QA Engineer at NorthBay Solutions, you will play a crucial role in supporting testing efforts across AI-driven platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the functional accuracy, performance, and quality of features while also contributing to the validation of AI model outputs, training data quality, and overall user experience across web and API-based systems. You will be tasked with designing, writing, and executing test cases to validate features, APIs, and end-to-end system integrations. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Java-based frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar tools. Manual and exploratory testing for AI model outputs and user workflows will also be a part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with Machine Learning, Development, and Automation teams will be essential as you define test strategies and acceptance criteria. Furthermore, you will contribute to regression testing cycles and final release validations. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of Agile methodologies, QA processes, and test lifecycle management are key requirements for this role. To be successful in this position, you should have at least 5 years of professional experience in QA or software testing, with proven expertise in QA automation using Java. Hands-on experience with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, and API testing tools like Postman is also required. Exposure to AI/ML concepts and experience in validating training data quality and evaluating model behavior in production environments would be considered a plus.
