Job Description
- The Head of Product Line Management plays a crucial role in leading the product portfolio strategy at Haworth Commercial Interiors International. Your primary focus will be to ensure that the product portfolio is in line with market demands, technology trends, and competition, ultimately driving growth in the company. You will be responsible for achieving multi-year targets, spearheading transformation initiatives, and maintaining a competitive regional portfolio to drive sustained sales, profit, and market growth. Your daily mission will involve defining and executing the Product Line Management (PLM) strategy in alignment with global stakeholders and business goals. This includes conducting market research, competitor analysis, and validation to ensure a competitive product portfolio. You will lead new product introduction (NPI) execution, collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful product launches, and develop marketing materials, pricing strategies, and product training programs. Analyzing cost, pricing, and competitor data will be essential for optimizing portfolio performance. Additionally, guiding the team in delivering client-focused product solutions aligned with Haworth's value proposition, owning the regional product roadmap, and effectively communicating key updates to leadership will be key responsibilities. Moreover, you will be tasked with building and leading a high-performing team, fostering innovation and excellence within the organization. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or engineering, along with at least 12 years of experience in product management or marketing, preferably in a B2B setting. Additionally, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience leading teams across countries, with at least 3 years of international experience in global firms being mandatory. Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in Mandarin is considered a plus. Experience in product localization, fast turnarounds, strong business acumen, project management skills, and collaboration with sales and dealer networks are all essential for success in this role. The successful candidate for this position must be willing to travel across the Asia Pacific region, with potential international travel required.
