Join us at Siemens Healthineers as an Engineer for Global Component Certification. As an Engineer for Global Component Certification at Siemens Healthineers, you will play a crucial role in: - Creating cross-SHS strategies for standardizing commercial off-the-shelf components and functions, considering strategic, technical, and economic aspects in collaboration with all business areas globally. - Managing the complete lifecycle of catalogue parts and defining preferred components with approvals and certificates. - Monitoring approval and regulatory situations for your assigned spectrum and sharing this knowledge during consultations. - Addressing quality issues, conducting analyses to identify faults, and implementing quality control measures. - Performing life cycle analyses to prevent certificate discontinuations and informing all SHS users. - Participating in a certificate-related network of SHS country QT, SHS QT Regulatory Affairs, and Global Certification Service. - Keeping abreast of the global market for components by attending trade fairs and engaging with manufacturers. This role may be ideal for you if you possess the following: - Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a pragmatic approach to implementation. - Clear analytical, problem-solving, and decisive approach to complex tasks. - High motivation and entrepreneurial mindset to create synergies and value for Siemens Healthineers. - Knowledge of Siemens Healthineers business areas, products, and business models. - Proficiency in project management and analytic methods. - Ability to collaborate with PLM, SCM, purchasing departments, and external partners such as suppliers. To excel in this role, you should have: - A Master's degree in natural sciences, electrical engineering, or a related field. - Several years of experience in country-specific approval of components and familiarity with various country-specific authorities. - At least 5 years of experience in electronics development, component engineering, or as an application engineer for electronic components. - Strong knowledge of electronic components across a wide range of devices. - Proficiency in circuit design and reading circuit diagrams. - Leadership experience or leadership potential. - Project management experience, preferably in an international setting. - Familiarity with common office tools, databases (e.g., MSAccess), SHS tools like SAP and CES. - Knowledge of lean principles and agile working methods. - Experience in cross-disciplinary task processing and understanding of Healthineers products and processes.,
