Position Name:-Electrochemist
Working Days: 6days a week
Location:- Vikhroli, Mumbai
Job Profile
KRA:-
- Electrochemical experimental knowledge
- R&D Cell fabrication and testing
- Lab establishment (SOPs, 5s)
- Battery recycling process
- Failure mode analysis
- Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured documents to provide timely updates
Job Description:-
- Conducting R&D experiments for new chemical formulations
- Electrode preparation, cell assembly and testing
- Testing of cell components using electrochemical, electrical and chemical techniques
- Perform material characterization after testing to understand the failure modes
- Collection of cycled electrode materials after dissection of cells and conduct experiments to recycle the active materials.
- Ensure that lab cleanliness and safety standards are maintained
- Complete documentation needed to support all R&D activities such as data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms
- Write technical reports or documentation such as deviation reports, testing protocols, and trend analyses
Requisite Qualification: M.Sc in Materials Science/Chemistry or B.Tech., in Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering
Requisite Experience: 3-5 years with experience in battery industry and having an excellent Electrochemical knowledge, Ability to function well in a fast-paced R&D environment, set priorities to accomplish multiple tasks within deadlines, and adapt to ever changing needs
Special Skills Required
- Good fundamental Electrochemical knowledge
- Ability to review literatures, research articles and patents
- Good understanding knowledge on working principles of batteries, possible failure modes and recycling process of cycled cells
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience on material characterization instrument such as SEM and XRD
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
