Job Description

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a professional and customer-focused individual to join our EF-IF Diamonds team. The role involves assisting customers with product inquiries, sales support, order follow-ups, and ensuring a luxury buying experience that reflects the EF-IF brand standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist walk-in customers, ensuring a personalized luxury service experience.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp messages, and email queries promptly and professionally.
  • Provide detailed information on diamonds, jewellery designs, savings plans, pricing, and customization options.
  • Coordinate with the sales and production teams for order status updates.
  • Assist customers with after-sales support including resizing, repairs, returns, and exchanges.
  • Maintain accurate customer records in CRM/software.
  • Resolve customer complaints effectively while maintaining brand image.
  • Follow up with leads generated through marketing campaigns and events.
  • Educate customers on diamond quality, certification, and care tips.
  • Support in-store events, exhibitions, and promotions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Business, Marketing, or Jewellery Design).
  • Experience: 13 years in customer service, preferably in luxury retail/jewellery.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Tamil (Hindi is an added advantage).
  • Good knowledge of diamond grading (EF-IF, VVS, etc.) and jewellery terminology is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and digital communication tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced luxury retail environment with attention to detail.
  • Pleasant personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
