Job Description
We are hiring a Senior Go Developer with proven experience in building scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Golang and PostgreSQL, and possess a strong understanding of microservices architecture and modern cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go (Golang)
- Develop efficient data models and schemas in PostgreSQL
- Optimize queries and ensure high-performance database operations
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
- Debug, maintain, and enhance existing systems
- Ensure secure and compliant data storage and integrations
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members
- Work with DevOps to deploy and monitor applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Contribute to internal documentation and technical best practices
Required Skills:
- 46 years of software development experience, with 3+ years in Golang
- Expertise in PostgreSQL: schema design, query optimization, tuning
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and microservices
- Strong knowledge of Git and version control workflows
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, Redis
- Exposure to Kafka
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies like React
