Job Description
The Web3 Engineer / Blockchain Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling multi-chain blockchain infrastructure and decentralized identity (DID) systems. This role focuses on deep technical expertise across Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Graphene/Steem, delivering secure, scalable, and efficient blockchain solutions aligned with the companys strategic goals. The ideal candidate combines blockchain fluency with strong architectural vision, leadership, and stakeholder collaboration skills to bridge business and technical needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Blockchain Architecture Design
- Architect multi-chain blockchain systems (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Graphene/Steem)
- Implement Ethereum PoS nodes and Taproot on Bitcoin
- Architect cross-chain payment processing systems
2. Wallet & DID Implementation
- Integrate Bitcoin Lightning Network and Taproot
- Implement W3C DID standards
3. Smart Contract Development
- Design and deploy secure Ethereum smart contracts
- Maintain contract efficiency and scalability
4. DApp & Product Integration
- Guide decentralized application development
- Translate business needs into technical solutions
5. Technical Governance & Leadership
- Define architectural standards and best practices
- Lead code reviews and mentorship
6. Risk & Compliance Management
- Identify and mitigate blockchain-related security risks
- Align with legal/regulatory frameworks
7. Innovation & Strategy
- Research and recommend emerging blockchain tools and protocols
- Contribute to blockchain product roadmap
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred)
- 5+ years in software development, including 3+ years in blockchain architecture
- Strong portfolio of delivered blockchain projects, especially multi-chain or cross-chain
- Certifications (e.g., Certified Blockchain Developer, Ethereum Developer Certificate) a plus
- Experience with secure, audited smart contract deployment
- Familiarity with blockchain regulatory and compliance standards
- Active involvement in blockchain developer communities or contributions to open-source projects
Key Skills
- Technical Skills
- Expert knowledge of Bitcoin architecture, Lightning Network, and Taproot
- Deep experience with Ethereum, including smart contracts, PoS, and EVM standards
- Working knowledge of Graphene/Steem or other DPoS systems
- Proven ability to implement W3C DID standards
- Proficiency in languages such as Solidity, Rust, Go, or Python
- Familiarity with blockchain node operation, wallet integration, and cross-chain protocols

- Ability to define and execute long-term technical strategies

- Experience leading complex, multi-team blockchain projects

- Skilled in communicating technical concepts to business stakeholders
- Strong collaboration with product, legal, and compliance teams
