Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Architecture & Deployment:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Deploy and manage applications using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and more.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
Monitoring & Optimization:
- Monitor cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
- Optimize performance, cost, and security of AWS resources.
- Conduct capacity planning and implement strategies for scaling.
Security & Compliance:
- Implement security best practices for AWS environments, including IAM policies, encryption, and security groups.
- Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
DevOps & CI/CD:
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and Jenkins.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the cloud environment.
Troubleshooting & Support:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to AWS infrastructure and services.
- Provide support for cloud-based applications and systems during and after deployments.
Collaboration & Documentation:
- Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
- Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, and CloudFront.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (EKS is a plus).
DevOps & CI/CD:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
- Understanding of version control systems like Git.
Security & Networking:
- Strong knowledge of AWS security best practices, IAM policies, and role-based access control.
- Experience with AWS networking components (e.g., VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, NAT Gateways).
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
