Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore/Pune
Job Type: Full-Time with TechM
CTC: Max 20 LPA
Notice: Immediate to 30 days
Exp: 5- 9 years
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Capital Markets and Gloss (Broadridge) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent functional knowledge of post-trade processes, hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and SQL, and proven capabilities in stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and delivering under pressure in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the functional liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for Capital Markets projects with a focus on the Gloss (Broadridge) product.
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for post-trade lifecycle activities such as trade capture, confirmation, settlement, reconciliation, and accounting.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and workflows using JIRA and Confluence.
- Perform data analysis using SQL to support requirement validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate closely with front-office, middle-office, operations, and IT teams to ensure alignment and clarity in requirements.
- Support end-to-end testing cycles including SIT/UAT by preparing test cases, coordinating test efforts, and validating outcomes.
- Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and ensure transparency through continuous communication and status reporting.
- Identify potential conflicts or gaps in understanding early and resolve them effectively through negotiation and facilitation.
- Work efficiently in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall delivery models depending on project needs.
- Provide support in training and documentation for new processes and systems post-implementation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets, preferably within investment banks or financial institutions.
- Strong knowledge and working experience on Gloss (Broadridge) especially in settlements, reconciliation, and accounting modules.
- Expertise in JIRA for backlog grooming, sprint planning, and story mapping.
- Proficiency in Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
- Solid command of SQL for data analysis and validation.
- Strong experience in stakeholder management, including senior business and technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to handle conflict resolution, ambiguity, and pressure situations with professionalism.
- Exposure to Agile and Waterfall methodologies; ability to switch based on project requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Masters degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Certifications like CBAP, Agile BA, or Scrum Master are a plus.
- Experience working in regulatory or compliance-related capital markets projects (e.g., CSDR, MiFID II) is advantageous.
