Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow SecOps Developer for our ServiceNow Practice. If you are passionate about security
automation and eager to build expertise in ServiceNows Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR)
modules, this role will provide technical challenge and career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the configuration, development, and enhancement of ServiceNow Security Operations, focusing on SIR and VR modules.
- Participate in requirement-gathering sessions and help translate these into actionable technical tasks.
- Implement workflows, forms, notifications, and automation under the guidance of senior team members.
- Support data integrations with external security tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable) and assist in troubleshooting.
- Perform unit and system testing, documenting results and raising issues as identified.
- Support go-live activities and post-deployment troubleshooting for SecOps solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge base articles.
- Regularly update technical skills in line with ServiceNow platform releases and best practices.
- Work collaboratively with security, IT, and operations teams.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow development or administration.
- Understanding of ServiceNow SecOps application fundamentals, especially SIR and/or VR modules.
- Scripting experience (JavaScript, Glide, etc.) and knowledge of ServiceNow Studio or App Engine.
- Exposure to IT security concepts, incident management, or vulnerability management processes.
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, participate in code reviews, and follow defined development standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of relevant SecOps certifications.
- Experience assisting with integrations of third-party security products into ServiceNow.
- Some knowledge of Agile project methodology and ITIL processes.
- Ability to deliver clear technical documentation.
- Interest in pursuing ServiceNow certifications.
